Treating Frostbite: Education for prehospital and emergency care providers

Wisconsin winters often put people at risk for frostbite.  Unfortunately, frostbite can occur in less than 30 minutes, and can contribute to significant morbidity through the loss of limbs and digits if care is not implemented emergently.  This education event will focus on helping providers become comfortable with identifying and treating frostbite to reduce the risk of digit/limb loss. Emergency responders and health care providers from any service, program or hospital are welcome to attend.
