Virtual Pediatric Medical Operations Coordination Cell (PMOCC) Exercise

June 7 @ 9:00 am 1:15 pm

The Michigan Bureau of EMS, Trauma and Preparedness, in partnership with the Region V for Kids Pediatric Center of Excellence, will be conducting a virtual pediatric medical operations coordination cell (PMOCC) exercise. The PMOCC is a new model for emergency management of pediatric disaster and surge incidents and is based upon the ASPR TRACIE Medical Operations Coordination Cells Toolkit. The purpose of this activity is to learn more about how to and why to implement a state PMOCC.  This is mostly an educational activity, but there will be a small amount of time in which the organizers will do some breakout sessions with other participants within our state.  Furthermore, there will be a very brief overview on the Waukesha Parade at the beginning of the activity.
